When should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by September 30, 2026.
Where do I stay?
We’ve reserved the entire Kimpton Mas Olas for our wedding weekend & secured special rates so we can celebrate with all our favorite people in one place.
Please note: Mas Olas is an adults-only & smoke-free resort.
Are kids included in the wedding?
This will be an adults-only celebration & Mas Olas is an adults-only hotel. We hope you enjoy a weekend off & celebrate with us!
Passports
Please check your passport expiration date! While Mexico does not enforce a 6‑month passport validity rule, some airlines enforce their own rules, they might require passengers’ passports to have at least 6 months of validity beyond the travel date to permit boarding.
Can I swim in the Ocean?
Not at Mas Olas. The Todos Santos coastline has very strong undertows. It’s unsafe to swim off the hotel beach at any age or skill level. WE'RE SERIOUS. DON'T TRY IT. IT'S NOT SAFE! If you’re set on ocean swimming, Cerritos Beach down the road is swimmable & surfable. See the Things To Do page for details.
Do I need a rental car?
We highly suggest renting a car so you can explore Todos Santos & the Cerritos area. Our Travel page has details on who we recommend booking a rental car through. Taxis are hard to come by quickly in town & there are no Ubers in Todos Santos. Mas Olas can assist with shuttles & taxis departing from the hotel.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
Beach formal. We recommend ladies wear block heels or wedges.
Are the ceremony & reception outdoors?
Yes! The ceremony is on the beach & the reception will be outdoors on packed sand. Welcome Drinks will be held poolside outdoors as well.
What is the weather like?
The desert meets the ocean in Baja, so expect warm, sunny days & cool nights. In late February highs average around 75°F & lows around 55°F.
What should I pack?
We recommend bringing sunscreen, hats, & sunglasses but most importantly your swimsuit! Dress for warmer days with light layers & chillier desert evenings with a sweater or jacket.
Don't forget your gym clothes & pickleball paddle too!
What about Dining?
Todos Santos is known for its farm-to-table cuisine, & the food at Mas Olas is excellent. We’ve arranged for Botanica to be open for dinner on Thursday evening before Welcome Drinks. Find more off-property dining recommendations under the Things To Do page.
Do I need Pesos?
Most hotels & restaurants accept credit cards & U.S. dollars, but you’ll get a better rate using Mexican pesos. We recommend carrying some cash for tipping, taxis, & smaller local spots. You can exchange money through your bank before travel, at the airport exchange, or withdraw pesos from ATMs at the two banks in Todos Santos (about a 15-minute drive from Mas Olas).
Can I drink the tap water?
No, don’t drink the tap water unless it’s been purified. Mas Olas provides purified water for guests. If you don’t see any, ask the staff & they’ll bring some. All restaurants, bars, & food vendors use purified water (including ice).
Is Todos Santos Safe?
Yes! We want to reassure you that the Baja Sur area is considered in the safest "green zone." Things are calm & it's business as usual in Todos Santos.
What if I need medical care?
For all emergencies, please dial 911. St. Judes Medical Center is centrally located in Todos Santos & offers 24-hour care & English-speaking staff. Call +52 612 145 0600 for appointments, www.saintjudesclinic.com. In Cabo San Lucas, there is a hospital well-known for their top surgeons in Baja Sur, Hospital H+ Los Cabos (hmasloscabos.mx)
